Competition Terms

1. Promoter and promotion

1.1 The promoter is RIPIT GRIPS PTY LTD (ABN 83 641 156 443) of 23 Christine Avenue, Miami QLD 4220 (Promoter).

1.2 The Bloody Ripper Email Competition (Competition) is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.

1.3 The Competition opens at 12:00am on 15 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 21 October 2026 (Competition Period). All times are Queensland time (AEST). Entrants in states observing daylight saving should note the difference.

1.4 Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these terms. By entering, entrants accept these terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

2.2 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone involved in running the Competition are not eligible. Immediate family means spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, sibling or grandparent.

2.3 The Promoter may ask the winner for proof of age, identity and residency. If the winner cannot provide it, the prize may be forfeited and redrawn under clause 5.

3. How to enter

3.1 To enter, click on the Competition ad on Facebook or Instagram during the Competition Period, complete the entry form inside the ad with your full name and a valid email address, and submit it. Entrants need their own Facebook or Instagram account to see the form.

3.2 Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.

3.3 Limit of one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be excluded; the first valid entry received counts.

3.4 Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Entry time is the time recorded when the form is submitted through Meta's lead form system.

3.5 The Promoter may disqualify entries that are incomplete, use false details, are made by automated means, or otherwise breach these terms.

3.6 The Promoter is not responsible for entries lost, delayed or not received because of technical problems.

4. Prize

4.1 There is one prize: a full set of grips, which includes 13 swing grips, 1 putter grip and 1 ball marker. Total prize value is $386.25 (including GST).

4.2 Prize value is the recommended retail value as at 13 October 2026. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in that value.

4.3 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

4.4 If the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written direction from a state or territory regulator.

4.5 The prize will be delivered to an Australian address provided by the winner within 14 days of the winner's details being confirmed.

5. Draw, winner notification and redraw

5.1 The draw will take place at 8:00am on 22 October 2026 at 23 Christine Avenue, Miami QLD 4220. The first valid entry drawn at random wins.

5.2 Every valid entry has an equal chance of being drawn. After the Competition Period closes, all entries will be downloaded from Meta's lead form system into one list and duplicate and ineligible entries removed. The winner will then be drawn from that list using an electronic random draw system.

5.3 The winner will be notified by email within two business days of the draw. The winner must reply within 7 days with the details the Promoter requests.

5.4 If the prize is unclaimed, or the winner is ineligible or cannot be contacted by the response deadline, an unclaimed prize redraw will take place at 8:00am on 31 October 2026 at the same address. The redrawn winner will be notified by email within two business days and given the same response period.

5.5 The Promoter's decision on the draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Privacy and marketing

6.1 The Promoter collects entrants' names and email addresses to run the Competition, contact the winner and deliver the prize.

6.2 If an entrant ticks the opt-in box on the entry form, the Promoter will also use their details to send news and offers by email. Entrants can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.

6.3 Personal information is handled in line with the Promoter's privacy policy at https://ripitgrips.com/policies/privacy-policy, which explains how to access or correct your information and how to complain.

6.4 If an entrant does not provide the required details, they cannot enter.

7. General conditions

7.1 If the Competition cannot run as planned because of something beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel it, subject to any direction from a state or territory regulator.

7.2 Nothing in these terms limits rights entrants have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

7.3 Subject to clause 7.2, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the Competition or the prize, except loss caused by the Promoter's negligence or breach of these terms.

7.4 The Promoter is not responsible for the winner's use of the prize. Any tax arising from the prize is the winner's responsibility.

7.5 The Competition is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

7.6 The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram. Entrants release Meta from any liability relating to the Competition.

1.4 The Giveaway is separate from the Promoter's Bloody Ripper Email Competition run through Meta lead ads over the same period. Each has its own terms, entry method, prize and draw.

3. How to enter

3.1 To enter during the Giveaway Period, on the Giveaway post on @ripitgrips: (a) follow @ripitgrips; (b) like and save the post; and (c) comment "Ripper" on the post and tag one friend.

3.2 Bonus entry: entrants who complete clause 3.1 receive one additional entry by sharing the Giveaway post to their Instagram story during the Giveaway Period and tagging @ripitgrips in that story. The entrant's account must be public so the Promoter can see the share.

3.3 Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.

3.4 Each person can have a maximum of two entries: one standard entry and one bonus entry. Extra comments or shares do not add entries. Entrants must still be following @ripitgrips at the time of the draw.

3.5 The Promoter may disqualify entries that are offensive, from fake or automated accounts, or that otherwise breach these terms.

3.6 The Promoter is not responsible for comments or story shares that are hidden, deleted, expired or not shown because of platform issues or settings.

4. Prize

4.1 There is one prize: a full set of Ripit Bloody Ripper Grips, made up of 13 swing grips, 1 putter grip and 1 ball marker. Total prize value is $386.25 (including GST).

5.2 After the Giveaway Period closes, all valid entrants will be compiled into one list, with one entry per person plus one bonus entry for each eligible story share under clause 3.2. The winner will then be drawn from that list using an electronic random draw system.

5.3 The Bloody Ripper Email Competition is drawn first. If the person drawn here has already won the Bloody Ripper Email Competition, their entry is set aside and another entry is drawn immediately.

5.4 The winner will be announced in a comment on the Giveaway post and contacted by direct message from @ripitgrips within two business days of the draw. The Promoter will never ask for payment or bank details. The winner must reply within 7 days.

5.5 If the prize is unclaimed, or the winner is ineligible or cannot be contacted by the response deadline, an unclaimed prize redraw will take place at 8:30am on 31 October 2026 at the same address. The redrawn winner will be contacted the same way and given the same response period.

5.6 The Promoter's decision on the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Privacy

6.1 The Promoter uses entrants' account handles and comments only to run the Giveaway and pick the winner.

6.2 The Promoter collects the winner's name, contact details and delivery address only to verify eligibility and deliver the prize.
